A self-transfer itinerary consists of multiple flights combined by BudgetAir.es and operated by different airlines that do not have an interline agreement. Therefore, after booking, the itinerary will be split into multiple bookings and the corresponding tickets will be issued individually. They will be delivered electronically directly to the inbox. Self-transfer itineraries may require completing entry/exit procedures, collecting baggage, and checking in again during the transfer. Therefore, it is essential to have the required travel documents for the relevant countries and destinations. Make sure to obtain any necessary visas for check-in on each flight.

With this guarantee, BudgetAir.es will provide personalized assistance in case of issues with the planned transfer for a connecting flight due to changes, cancellations, or delays.

• Replacement flights ✈️
  If a flight is missed due to changes, cancellations, or delays, BudgetAir.es will rebook the affected routes free of charge in accordance with the airline’s policies.

What to do

After contacting BudgetAir.es regarding the change, cancellation, or delay of the flight in question, an alternative plan will be proposed. If the new proposal is accepted, costs for meals, alternative transport, and even accommodation will be covered to facilitate the journey. Here’s how to benefit from these advantages:

1. If the travel itinerary is disrupted due to a flight change, cancellation, or delay, inform BudgetAir.es via phone, live chat, or email.

2. As soon as the situation is known, an alternative travel plan will be prepared. Accept the proposed solution or suggest an alternative plan within 24 hours.

3. In some circumstances, alternative flights can be purchased through third-party channels. See the conditions below. Proof of payment must be provided within 14 days from the original scheduled arrival date.
